Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego seeks a Director, Scientific Communications - Medical Content for Sparsentan to lead medical content strategy, ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance, and translate evolving evidence into timely communications across Global Medical Affairs.

You will oversee the Medical Content team, collaborate with Publication and Education teams, manage vendors, and travel up to 25% to congresses and collaborations, while upholding Travere’s values of Courage,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in scientific communications and medical affairs with leadership of cross-functional programs.
• Experience aligning medical content strategy with product and medical objectives.
• Experience directing or reviewing content development; nephrology/rare diseases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the scientific narrative and story arc.
• Oversee strategic medical content plan aligned with Medical Affairs objectives.
• Develop campaigns for key focus areas and manage the Medical Content team.
• Collaborate with Publication, Congress & Medical Education, and Digital Engagement teams.
• Oversee vendors and ensure medical-legal review and external guidelines compliance.
