Mineralys Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Director of Market Research & Competitive Intelligence to lead primary and secondary market research, analytics, and CI activities supporting lorundrostat development and launch. You will create strategic frameworks, manage vendors, and collaborate with marketing and market access to shape commercial plans.

Travel up to 10% may be required. The role reports to the Exec.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in market research, data analytics, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, marketing or related discipline within commercial pharmaceutical or biotech in the US.
• Strong knowledge of the US pharmaceutical market; experience with US payer/market access data sources preferred.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create clear, compelling presentations and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic frameworks to organize and prioritize commercial questions.
• Manage third-party vendors and data providers to generate insights for commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing and market access to develop launch plans for lorundrostat.
• Provide commercial perspectives for literature reviews, epidemiology, and opportunity analyses.
• Monitor competitive activity in relevant therapeutic areas and inform leadership.
• Support revenue forecast updates with market intelligence input.
• Manage insights budget and spending.
• Report to the Exec. Director of Business Analytics & CI.

Director, Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

Position Summary:

The Director, Market Research & Competitive Intelligence will be responsible for primary & secondary market research/analytics & competitive intelligence to support the development & launch of lorundrostat.

• Create strategic frameworks to help Mineralys organize & prioritize key business questions around commercial planning, lifecycle management,
• Proactively manage multiple third-party vendors, data providers & consultants to generate insights & data to support key business decisions for the organization including commercial as well as various cross functional partners.
• Work with marketing & market access to develop strategic commercial plan for the launch of lorundrostat in uncontrolled / resistant hypertension.
• Answer or provide commercial perspective on ad hoc literature review / epidemiology / commercial opportunity related questions to support BD, senior leadership questions, external presentations (for investors, earnings, etc.), BoD presentations, Leadership Team presentations
• Monitor and disseminate competitive activity in TAs of interest to broader organization
• Provide input on revenue forecast updates/development
• Efficiently manage business insights budget planning & spend
• This role will report to Exec. Director of Business Analytics & CI.

Skills and Attributes

• PowerPoint, Excel, presentation skills (Expertise in creating clear & attractive presentations & frameworks is required & critical for this role)
• Strong knowledge of US pharmaceutical market (preferably in general medicine, cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, or other larger prevalence therapeutic areas)
• Some knowledge/experience with US payer/market access environment and data sources is preferred.
• Some knowledge/experience of major ex-US pharmaceutical markets is preferred but not required.
• Working experience with US data sources for market data (claims/EHR/Rx/audits/Payer Coverage/CI DBs) is required.
• Working knowledge of drug development process and ability to evaluate competitive clinical trial design is required

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 8 years in market research, data analytics, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, marketing or other related discipline within commercial pharmaceutical or biotech located in the US

Travel:

• This position requires up to 10% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight.

US Salary Range: $190,000 - $220,000
