We are seeking a Director of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence to join IDEAYA’s Commercial Operations team. The Director of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence is responsible for the development and management of the market research and competitive intelligence functions. This individual will be a crucial strategic partner to key internal stakeholders throughout the organization. This leader will utilize their extensive U.S. oncology and launch experience with an initial focus on launch readiness and commercialization on our lead program darovasertib in metastatic Uveal Melanoma (mUM). Furthermore, this position will have an increasingly important role in developing insights to support our burgeoning pipeline of numerous first‑in‑class assets within several oncology disease areas. This position reports to the Vice President, Commercial Operations, Analytics & Insights.
While this will initially be an individual contributor role, this position is expected to evolve into a team lead with 1‑3 direct reports within two years. This position is based in our South San Francisco headquarter office and required to be onsite four days per week per our company policy.

The expected salary range for the Director, Market Research and Competitive Intelligence role is $230,000 - $284,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the office location where this open position is located, the final candidate’s experience within their profession, experience in the disease areas we are striving to make an impact in as a company, length of time within the industry, educational background, and performance during the interview process.
