Job summary

Sanofi in Cambridge, MA seeks a Director of Respiratory Market Development to lead US HCP engagement and market conditioning in pulmonary diseases with a COPD/asthma focus.

You will translate science into strategic marketing, develop disease-state insights, and partner across Marketing, Global Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Finance and R&D to drive growth and payer value in a cross-functional, AI-aware organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8–10+ product brand management/strategic marketing experience in pharma/biopharma.
  • Understanding of the respiratory market; KOLs preferred.
  • Experience with market research, creative development, regulatory review.
  • Respiratory experience in COPD or asthma preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Finance.
  • Experience partnering with co-promote partners.
  • Awareness of AI's impact in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Translate science into actionable marketing strategies and tactics for core HCP targets.
  • Develop understanding of disease states and market to create differentiated market conditioning plans.
  • Serve as day-to-day Marketing point for Pulmonary Thought Leader Liaisons and Respiratory Congresses.
  • Lead Speaker Bureau development, training and execution.
  • Lead peer-to-peer educational content development.
  • Lead Advisory Board planning and management with health-care-provider groups.

Main responsibilities:
  • Translate the science into actionable and impactful marketing and educational strategies and tactics that resonate with core HCP targets .
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the disease state(s), the competitive landscape and the overall market to develop high-impact and differentiating market conditioning strategies/tactics with a strong ap
  • Serve as the day-to-day Marketing point for the Pulmonary Thought Leader Liaisons and for Key Respiratory Congresses (ATS, ACCP, EPC, ERS, GOLD)
  • Leads Speaker Bureau Development, Training and Execution
  • Leads Peer to Peer educational content development
  • Leads Advisory Board Planning and Management along with management of health care provider strategic working groups .
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree required . Masters Business Administration or Science Degree, Pharm D, or MD preferred .
  • 8-10+ Product brand management, and/or strategic marketing, commercial/ business development experience inpharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry .
  • Understanding of the respiratory market, and experience developing Key Opinion Leaders preferred
  • Understanding of market research, creative development and experience with regulatory review and approval process.
  • Substantial respiratory experience in COPD or asthma preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups which may include Marketing, Global Marketing , Sales , Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Life Cycle Management and Finance
  • Track record of experience demonstrating effective ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders including our co-promote partner
  • Demonstrated understanding and utilization of the impact and role of AI in healthcare

The salary range for this position is:

$178,500.00 - $257,833.33

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs, and additional benefits information can be found here.
