Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking an accomplished data scientist in Atlanta to lead end-to-end ML/AI solutions across Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will transform business needs into predictive models, manage large data pipelines, and communicate insights to executives.

You will mentor junior data scientists, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay current with industry trends while leveraging Microsoft Azure analytics tools and a mature DevOps workflow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field; PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years applying a range of statistical, modeling, and mathematical optimization techniques.
  • Experience gathering, interpreting and translating business requirements.
  • Proficient experience with analytical and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Understand data structures and data transformation methods.
  • Experience with large-scale data wrangling with relational databases and/or Spark.
  • Experience building end-to-end data science and analytic solutions.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams for E2E solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure analytics stack (Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure ML, Databricks).
  • Strong learning aptitude for new technologies and ability to communicate complex concepts.

What You’ll Do for Us:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand businessrequirementsand objectives.
  • Translate business requirements by incorporating data and develop ML and AI algorithms to produce actionable insights for various functional areas and use-cases, including Marketing, Finance, Technical Innovation and Supply Chain (among others) across the Globe.
  • Leverage a diverse set of large structured and unstructured data to derive meaningful insights and information sets for modeling.
  • Visualizeand interpretdata andcreatereportsand actionable insights.
  • Develop, manage,and maintainend-to-end (E2E)AI/MLand analytic solutions from ideation, production, and ongoing monitoring
  • Communicate complex analytical work to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive management.
  • Partner withML OPSto scaleandoperationalize MLandAI use-cases.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with the agreed standards.
  • Build and maintain a robust library of data science solutions, reusable templates, algorithms and supporting code.
  • Leverage CI and CD principles to automate and improve repeatability of deployments.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in data science and analytics.
  • Mentor, guide, and develop junior/aspiring data scientists across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s orMaster’sdegree inaquantitative field, such asData Science,Statistics,Computer Science,Economics,Finance,Mathematics, OperationsResearchor other quantitativediscipline.Ph.D. preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experienceapplying a range of statistical, modeling, and mathematical optimization techniques including hypothesis testing, dimensionality reduction, Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP), supervised learning (classification and regression), Bayesian modeling, forecasting, and unsupervised clustering and putting solutions into production.
  • Experience gathering, interpreting and translating business requirements.
  • Proficientexperiencewithanalytical and programming languages and packages, such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Able to understand various data structures and common methods in datatransformation.
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale data wrangling with relational databases and/or Spark.
  • Demonstrated experience building end-to-end (E2E) data science and analytic solutions from ideation, production, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Demonstrated experiencecoordinatingwith cross-functional teamsin completion ofE2E solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Azure analytics stack (Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure ML, Databricks)
  • Strong aptitude for learning and applying new technologies related to Data Science and Data Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts and results at multiple levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with code version control platforms like GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
