Job summary

Antal International is seeking a Senior Life Sciences Data Architect / Technical Consultant to drive AI-led transformations for Fortune 50 pharmaceutical clients across New York and New Jersey. You will bridge enterprise AI architectures with business strategy, translating analytics requirements into scalable cloud-native designs.

You will lead executive committees, guide data platform modernization, and collaborate with offshore/onsite teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in AI, data engineering, software development, or data architecture.
• 5+ years dedicated to Life Sciences consulting.
• Proven leadership with executive-level steering committees and RFP/RFI framing.
• Experience delivering cloud-native data platforms for pharma/biotech.

Job description

Are you a senior Life Sciences Data Architect who excels at bridging the gap between complex enterprise AI architectures and high-level business strategy?

I am currently partnering with a global AI and analytics leader to identify a Technical Life Sciences Consultant / Business Translator to drive high-impact, AI-led transformations for Fortune 50 Pharmaceutical clients across New York and New Jersey.

This is an end-to-end advisory and technical leadership role. You will act as the key liaison between executive stakeholders, data product owners, and offshore/onsite engineering teams—translating complex analytical requirements into scalable, cloud-native architectures.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in AI, data engineering, software development, or data architecture, with at least 5+ years dedicated to Life Sciences consulting.
• Domain Focus: Proven success driving modernization initiatives for AI products, including AI foundations, governance, operational layers (L1-L3), ontology, and context layers.
• Technical Stack: Deep expertise with Databricks, AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, DynamoDB, Lambda, Athena, Kinesis), dbt, Python, Spark, SQL, and Data Vault 2.0 (including automate_dv).
• Leadership: Strong executive presence with experience leading VP and Executive Director-level steering committees, driving RFPs/RFIs, and framing complex client solutions.
• Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available for this position).
