Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) seeks a Director, Legal Division in the Office of Administrative Litigation. This Senior Executive Service-level position directs complex administrative litigation, shaping strategy and outcomes across contested matters.

TQ 1: Demonstrated experience directing and overseeing complex administrative litigation involving matters within FERCs jurisdiction, including litigation strategy and proceedings before Administrative Law Judges.
TQ 2: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and prepare, review, and evaluate pleadings, briefs, motions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents associated with contested proceedings.
In addition to the Technical Qualification Requirements listed above, all new entrants into the Senior Executive Service (SES) under a career appointment will be assessed for executive competency against the following five mandatory ECQs.
