Job summary

PayPal is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its legal team as Director, Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to support initiatives across PayPal’s FIAT digital wallet products and other product experiences.

Responsibilities include providing strategic legal advice, anticipating regulatory risks, performing compliance assessments, and managing legal interests to influence business strategy and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree (preferably from an ABA-accredited law school) and have at least 10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Preferred candidates will be admitted to a state bar in good standing and possess specific experience in consumer financial services, fintech, and regulatory frameworks such as UDAAP, Reg. E, and GLBA.
