Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director, Lead Software Engineer in New York to drive end-to-end design and development, including ETL components, data migration, and testing strategy. You will collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment and resolve batch failures to improve operational efficiency.

The role allows telecommuting up to 2 days per week and requires expertise in Informatica, Oracle SQL, IBM DB2, and Python, among other technologies. A Master’s degree is required.

Qualifications

Master’s degree required in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Three years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Experience with data integration, ETL and batch processing in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end design and development, including design mapping and data migration.
Develop, test and deploy ETL components, workflows and stored procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders using Agile scrum methodologies to prioritize work.
