Job summary

Vitruvian Health seeks an Assistant Director of the Laboratory Services Department to lead Clinical and Anatomic Laboratory operations under the Executive Director. This role oversees daily operations, quality management, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective services.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, performance management, education programs, and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Six years of leadership experience in a highly complex Laboratory.
• Strong leadership, managerial, and interpersonal skills; collaborate with staff, hospital leadership, and departments.
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards for laboratory services.
• Ability to mentor, train, and develop laboratory personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support for Clinical and Anatomic Laboratory services.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations, quality management, regulatory compliance, and budget stewardship.
• Coordinate educational and training programs for laboratory personnel and students.
• Mentor and develop staff while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Ensure age-specific patient care knowledge and data interpretation across lifespan.
