Beth Israel Lahey Health's Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a visionary Medical Director of the Interventional Pain & Spine Center to lead a multidisciplinary program addressing acute, chronic, and cancer-related spine pain.

You will guide clinical services, expand outpatient clinics, foster collaborations across departments, develop a Pain Fellowship, and drive quality, safety, and scholarly activity. This role is based at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited Pain Fellowship.
• Board Certification and a valid license to practice.
• 5–10 years of clinical experience preferred; 3+ years of clinical leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Oversee patient care delivery and advance a full spectrum of pain services.
• Program Growth: Expand outpatient clinics, procedural locations, and service lines to enhance access and regional presence.
• Systemwide Collaboration: Build partnerships across Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, PM&R, and other services to create coordinated care.
• Education & Research: Develop a Multidisciplinary Pain Fellowship Program and promote scholarly activity and outcomes research.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee quality, safety, patient experience, recruitment, and mentorship.
