Job summary

San Francisco Giants are seeking a Director, Integrated Performance to lead Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition, Biomechanics, Mental Skills, and Sports Science within Player Development. This role aligns disciplines to individual player development and long-term growth.

You will establish department standards, lead performance staff, and collaborate with coaches, medical personnel, and leadership to integrate performance strategies into daily baseball operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science or related field is required or strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in pro sports or high-performance environments; experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of performance disciplines: Strength/Conditioning, Nutrition, Biomechanics, Mental Skills, Sports Science.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of five performance disciplines with consistent standards across affiliates and complexes.
• Oversee staff development, performance evaluation, and professional growth.
• Partner with Player Development leadership on staffing, resources, budgets, and planning.
• Collaborate to develop individualized player development plans based on assessments and goals.
• Lead evaluations and meetings to align recommendations and responsibilities.
• Oversee programs for strength, power, speed, movement, fueling, recovery, and mental skills.
• Coordinate training with baseball schedules to balance development and readiness.
• Ensure consistent program implementation during season, postseason, and offseason.
• Establish assessment and monitoring processes and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with analysts and R&D to inform coaching decisions.
