Job summary

JobRx, Inc. seeks a Director of Infusion Services for a nonprofit integrated health system in the Greater Sacramento Area.

This senior leader will oversee infusion across hospital outpatient departments, freestanding centers, and clinics, driving strategy, growth, and regulatory compliance while partnering with pharmacy, nursing, finance, and operations. The role is based at the corporate campus, on-site, full-time, and emphasizes collaboration to optimize access, margins, and patient experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, pharmacy, finance, or a related field (required); Master's degree preferred.
• Seven years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, pharmacy, infusion services, or revenue cycle.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-cost drug services such as infusion, specialty pharmacy, oncology, or biologics.
• Five years of leadership experience (required).
• Board certification or professional credentials (e.g., PharmD, CPA, PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a system-wide infusion strategy aligned with growth, access, and financial goals.
• Oversee infusion P&L performance, including revenue, margin, and expense management; optimize drug purchasing and inventory.
• Collaborate with managed care and contracting to protect buy-and-bill economics and optimize payer policies.
• Serve as business liaison across pharmacy, nursing, revenue cycle, and finance; standardize metrics and reporting.
• Ensure infusion services comply with 340B, CMS, and payer rules; manage regulatory and financial risk.
• Establish KPIs and present infusion performance updates to executives and governance committees.
