The Director, HR Business Partner North America will operate as a trusted advisor and business partner to functional and regional executives and to other members of the company's senior management team, serving as the expert on people and organizational issues. Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership focused on a broad-based and transformational talent agenda designed to recruit, develop and retain the very best talent in the business.
The Director, HRBP will direct the regional human resources organization comprised of HRBPs and Field HRMs, to develop and execute best practices to promote employee engagement and development and to enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth.
*This role is located onsite in Charlotte, NC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, inclusion and diversity initiatives, and engagement programs (GPTW and internal engagement survey).
Strategic Leadership: Actively participate in HR and regional cross functional leadership teams, influencing and supporting business strategies.
Organizational Development: Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR regulations and company policies.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of related HR experience in HR leadership roles, such as HRBP and desirable experience as HR COE and/or Operations with a focus on strategic leadership and talent management.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Experience as HRBP in commercial and manufacturing environments.
Preferred certifications include SPHR, SHRM, PHR, or equivalent.
Leadership: Ability to influence senior leadership and develop a strong HR team.
Coaching: Consult with and coach HR team members and business leaders on designing and implementing People solutions to help them achieve their business results and solve employee related matters.
Change Management and Project Management: Plan, execute, and close projects efficiently. Manage the people side of changes by guiding and supporting individuals, teams, and organizations through transitions or transformations.
Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen: Understand business strategies and needs, develop short and long-term Talent plans to enable Business strategies.
Analytical Skills: Evaluate data and information to make informed decisions.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
HR Technical Skills: Expertise in Talent Management and Development, HR Analytics, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, I&D, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Travel requirement ~20%.
Office work environment: Remote work available once a week.
Internal: This role is eligible for domestic or international relocation.
External: This role is not eligible for relocation.
