Job summary

TPC is seeking a Director, Performance Improvement in Plano, TX to lead performance initiatives across members, identify opportunities, and deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial improvements with clinical and data-driven methods.

You will partner with executives, physicians, and leaders, translate insights into actionable strategies, and help develop new analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with clinical expertise and leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in business, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field.
• Meaningful experience in hospital quality and/or performance improvement, including identifying opportunities and leading improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret clinical, operational, and financial data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Strong executive presence, consultative communication, and presentation skills with ability to engage hospital executives, physicians, and clinical leaders.
• Change-management skills and ability to influence stakeholders without positional authority.
• Familiarity with healthcare performance measures, CMS programs, patient experience, and hospital performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and experience with benchmarking or performance analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Performance Leadership: define and execute initiatives that improve clinical, financial, and operational performance across Members.
• Opportunity Identification & Prioritization: quantify and prioritize performance improvement opportunities using data and context.
• Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation: leverage analytics to identify trends and drivers of variation in performance.
• Cross-Member Collaboration & Best Practice Deployment: share best practices and standardize approaches across Members.
• Performance Strategy & Advisory: translate data into clear implications for executives and clinical leaders.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: build relationships and influence organizational change at executive level.
• Executive Communication & Reporting: deliver clear insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
• Value Attribution & Capability Development: quantify value and contribute to analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
