Job description

About UsGreenbrook Medical is building the new standard in primary care.

About UsGreenbrook Medical is building the new standard in primary care. We deliver high-touch, relationship-based care through neighborhood clinics, grounded in a simple belief: every senior deserves the kind of care we would want for our own families. Our model prioritizes time with patients, strong care coordination, and a personalized approach that improves outcomes while lowering total cost of care. We take full accountability for patient outcomes and overall cost of care, aligning clinical excellence with disciplined execution. That commitment shows up in our results, including a patient Net Promoter Score of 91, compared to 32 for typical healthcare organizations. Rooted in Tampa Bay and partnered with Tampa General Hospital, we are entering an exciting phase of growth. Backed by strong unit economics, experienced operators, and a proven playbook, we are looking for builders and operators who want to help scale a healthcare platform designed to deliver better care, better coordination, and better outcomes for seniors.

About The RoleGreenbrook is scaling patients and clinics aggressively, and growth touches nearly every part of the organization. This seat is where the data, forecasts, and cross-functional dependencies come together to make that growth more predictable and actionable. You’ll build the visibility and operating infrastructure that helps Growth move with clarity and keeps the broader organization aligned as we scale.

As Director, Growth Operations, you own four things:

  • The analytical foundation: the growth model, budget construction, and the dashboards and data infrastructure the growth function runs on; all with an eye towards making growth observable
  • The operating cadence: OKRs, leadership reporting, decision tracking, and documentation, delivered on predictable rhythms
  • The cross-functional interface: You own the dependencies growth creates and make sure no partner team is surprised by it, from clinical ops to recruiting
  • Strategic analysis: the workstreams behind expansion, payer transfer, and acquisition decisions, driven from framing through recommendation

This is a high-autonomy role. You take ambiguous, high-stakes problems and drive them end-to-end without needing direction. You operate as a peer to the Director of Growth and Director of Marketing: they own outcomes and execution; you make their decisions better-informed and the function's performance visible, measurable, and trusted. You report to the VP of Growth & Population Health.

Location: New York City strongly preferred (Hybrid). Open to exceptional remote candidates.

What You’ll Do

Make Growth Predictable and Observable

  • Own the growth model: projected conversions by clinic, staffing ratios, panel maturity, and scenario planning for expansions. Proactively surface the cross-functional dependencies the model exposes, such as clinical capacity, staffing, or onboarding throughput, and resolve them directly with those teams
  • Develop the Growth budget: translate enterprise CAC targets into channel-specific budgets with the Directors of Growth and Marketing, and report budget vs. actuals to report CAC performance
  • Make growth observable: KPIs, business logic, dashboards, and data accuracy. You are the source of truth to understand how the growth team is performing
  • Own our HubSpot instance, inclusive of workflow design, dashboards and user management and set the technology investment roadmap for the growth function, including AI enablement
  • Identify and execute process improvements to keep the growth team ahead of our scale

Run the Operating Cadence

  • Own the annual and quarterly OKR process for the Growth team end-to-end, including alignment with partner teams and the review cadence
  • Deliver reporting to the growth team and leadership team on timely, predictable cadences. Own growth leadership team agenda, follow ups and decision tracking
  • Manage growth team documentation. Ensure our knowledge hub is up to date and has clear owners across the growth function

Connect Growth and Operations

  • Own physician capacity framework and triggers in partnership with the Director of Growth and Operations leaders. Collaborate with recruiting team and advocate for capacity expansion upon capacity framework triggers
  • Proactively identify cross-functional dependencies to and from the growth team, document those dependencies and manage them on an ongoing basis

Lead Strategic Analysis

  • Own the analytical workstreams behind strategic decisions: payer transfer modeling, acquisition due diligence support, and channel CAC/ROI analysis.
  • Provide proactive analyses to guide growth leadership decisions

What Success Looks Like

  • Growth Enablement: Growth has the data, systems, and operational clarity needed to consistently achieve panel-fill and year-end patient growth targets.
  • Forecasting & Decision Support: Growth forecasts reliably reflect actual performance within agreed-upon tolerance bands, giving leadership confidence to make informed decisions.
  • Operational Infrastructure: Dashboards, HubSpot, and the Growth model are accurate, aligned, and trusted as the source of truth for Growth reporting and decision-making.
  • OKR & Execution Discipline: Growth OKRs are clearly aligned to company priorities, consistently tracked, and reported on time each quarter.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Marketing, Growth, and key cross-functional leaders have high confidence in the quality of data, insights, and operational support provided.
  • Business Outcomes: Greenbrook achieves its year-end patient count and panel-fill targets.
  • Metrics you'll own: Forecasting accuracy, Growth data/reporting confidence, and peer satisfaction among Marketing, Growth, and key cross-functional leaders.
  • Shared outcomes: Year-end patient count vs. target and panel-fill rate vs. target.

About You

You bring:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Growth Operations, Strategy & Operations, or a similar function within a high-growth healthcare or multi-site services organization.
  • A track record of independently owning complex, ambiguous workstreams end-to-end and influencing executive-level decisions.
  • Experience managing people or demonstrated readiness to build and lead a high-performing team.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • A mindset grounded in our core values of Heart, Excellence, Accountability, Resilience, and Teamwork

You’ll stand out if you:

  • Think analytically: Build models, design dashboards, interpret complex data, and translate insights into clear business decisions.
  • Drive complex projects: Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, keeping stakeholders aligned and driving results.
  • Simplify complexity: Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems and turn them into actionable plans.
  • Are AI-native: Use modern AI tools thoughtfully and have a track record of building or implementing AI-enabled tools and workflows that support business goals.
  • Communicate with clarity: Adapt your communication to different audiences, including executives and cross-functional partners, and proactively close gaps.
  • Own the outcome: Bring a high bias for action, follow through on commitments, and consistently close loops without needing to be chased.
