The Director independently leads multiple strategic opportunities, drives growth strategy, aligns executive stakeholders, owns pursuit governance, anticipates risks, establishes scalable processes, mentors team members, and is accountable for overall execution quality and business outcomes rather than simply supporting execution.

  • Manage development of pitch content to ensure quality, consistency, and compelling storytelling.
  • Lead pitch workshops, rehearsals, and presentation readiness activities.
  • Identify execution risks and implement solutions to maintain momentum.
  • Coordinate Business Development, Strategy, Media, Data, Creative, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, milestones, and accountability across contributors.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior Growth Leadership throughout active pursuits.
  • Partner with design teams to develop polished, client-ready presentation materials.
  • Coordinate logistics, work sessions, presentation environments, and final deliverables.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Maintain best-in-class pitch templates, content libraries, and process documentation.
  • Capture learnings from wins and losses to improve future business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of media agency, marketing, consulting, or related experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex business development pursuits or pitch processes.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, editing, and presentation development skills.
  • Strong project management experience with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience mentoring team members and leading cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools.
  • Desire to continue growing into broader business development leadership roles.
