Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior program manager to lead a diverse portfolio of complex supply chain initiatives, from new customer implementations to strategic programs. You will guide project managers, maintain accurate status and timelines, and ensure governance, cost control, and delivery outcomes.

Collaboration with operations, technology, HR, finance, legal, and vendors is essential, with frequent executive updates.

Qualifications

15+ years of combined domestic and international supply-chain experience.
10+ years of leadership experience managing complex projects or portfolios, including direct team management.
Experience in logistics-solutions design and account management.
PMP Credential preferred.
Advanced user proficiency in MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Proficient user level in MS Power BI.
Working knowledge of Cascade and Monday.com.
Scrum Master certification or strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for meetings, projects, customer engagements, and project-related work.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and monitor a diverse portfolio of complex supply chain projects.

Ensure project governance and achievement of cost, quality, and delivery goals.
Collaborate with operations, technology, HR, finance, legal, commercial, customer, and vendor teams.
Serve as primary contact for senior leadership, stakeholders, and customers regarding project status, risks, and outcomes.
Support RFPs and proposals with cost estimates, timelines, and risk assessments.
Develop status-reporting and steering-committee communication strategies.
Lead and develop project managers and analysts through mentorship, training, and knowledge sharing.
Implement project-management best practices, including Agile methodologies.
Lead innovation and change-management initiatives for operations, system upgrades, and technology deployments.
Develop commercial content, project structures, timelines, cost estimates, and risk-management plans.
Oversee projects from initiation through service go-live and transition to ongoing operations.
Manage project costs and estimate variance at completion.
Maintain accurate project health reporting and integrate project documents with customers and service providers.
Build project-management capabilities and develop innovative approaches to delivering supply-chain strategies.

Requirements

Preferred 15+ years of combined domestic and international supply-chain experience
Preferred 10+ years of leadership experience managing complex projects or portfolios, including direct team management
Preferred 10+ years of experience in logistics-solutions design and account management
PMP® credential preferable
Advanced user proficiency in MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
Proficient user level in MS Power BI
Working knowledge of Cascade and Monday.com
Scrum Master certification or strong understanding of Agile methodologies
Ability to work remotely and autonomously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience working across multiple regions and with functional teams in multiple geographies
Experience leading and collaborating on integrated solutions for existing operations and new customers
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills
Experience implementing supply-chain strategies through APLL standard project management or Agile methodologies
Experience in the global logistics industry, preferably consolidation, warehousing, freight forwarding, or domestic transportation
Continued education to obtain and maintain professional project-management credentials
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels
Bilingual communication and public-speaking skills preferred
