Remote role with up to 10% travel; the leader will drive policy governance, training design, communications, and measurement of program adoption, partnering with Legal, HR, and business leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and ten (10) or more years of experience in ethics and compliance, policy governance, learning and development, or a related field.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide ethics, compliance, policy, training, or communications programs in a multinational organization.
  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader life sciences industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy governance, and team for ethics and compliance functions.
  • Establish and execute a global, risk-based strategy and operating model for policies, training, and communications.
  • Lead policy governance, including end-to-end policy management; partner with experts to harmonize policies, procedures and guidance.
  • Design and deploy role- and risk-based learning, oversee curriculum quality, localization, accessibility, completion and remediation.
  • Lead the communications strategy that reinforces leadership expectations and a speak-up culture; advise on senior leadership and Board communications.
  • Measure program adoption and effectiveness through metrics and insights; drive improvement across regions, cultures and languages.
  • Lead the policy, training & communications team and manage priorities, platforms, vendors in partnership with E&C, Legal, HR and business leaders.

Director Global Policy, Training & Communications - Ethics and Compliance - Remote - Solventum

Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  • lead the strategy, governance and team for these functions, translating complex requirements into practical guidance and learning that help employees and relevant third parties act with integrity.
  • Establish and execute an integrated, risk-based global strategy and operating model for E&C policies, training and communications.
  • Lead policy governance, including end-to-end policy management; partner with subject-matter experts on policy content and to simplify and harmonize policies, procedures and guidance.
  • Design and deploy role and risk-based learning for employees and relevant third parties, overseeing curriculum quality, localization, accessibility, completion and remediation.
  • Lead the communications strategy that reinforces leadership expectations, ethical decision-making and a speak-up culture; advise on senior leadership and Board communications.
  • Measure program adoption and effectiveness through meaningful metrics, feedback and insights, and drive continuous improvement across regions, cultures and languages.
  • Lead the policy, training & communications team and manage priorities, platforms, vendors in partnership with E&C, Legal, HR, Corporate Communications and business leaders.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires the following qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and ten (10) or more years of experience in ethics and compliance, policy governance, learning and development, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide ethics, compliance, policy, training, or communications programs in a multinational organization.
  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of global healthcare compliance regulations, anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements, and industry standards such as AdvaMed, MedTech Europe, or equivalent codes.
  • Experience developing and implementing global policies, compliance training programs, and communications that support employee awareness and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Experience using metrics, reporting, and analytics to evaluate policy adoption, training effectiveness, knowledge retention, or program impact.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed global organization.
  • Experience leading people, projects, and external vendor relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple global initiatives and priorities while delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Master's degree, Juris Doctor (JD), compliance certification (CCEP), or other relevant advanced degree or professional certification.

The expected compensation range for this position is $187,600 - $257,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.

In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
