This role pays an annual salary of $115,000-$164,000 and is bonus eligible.
This position will remain open until November 27, 2026.
Prospect, build, and convert new business efforts as it relates to corporate sponsorships and advertising across Seattle’s robust, multi-property portfolio, including but not limited to Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle Kraken, Kraken Hockey Network, Kraken Community Iceplex, PWHL Seattle, Seattle Center, Seattle Monorail, Memorial Stadium, and other third-party clientsExcel in pipeline management, ensuring consistent and strategic prospecting activity, timely follow-up, and conversionMeet with prospective corporate partners and outside agencies at their place of workCollaborate across business lines and properties to create integrated, innovative solutions for prospective partnersDesign sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners with the assistance of business solutions teamLead senior-level negotiations. Review advertising and sponsorship contracts; identify issues with contract language; address issues with and make recommendations for resolution; negotiate corporate sales investment and other rates as requiredAchieve corporate partnership revenue goals and department budgetsProvide mentorship, driving best-in-class sales processes and ideation; guidance; and performance leadership to the Corporate Partnerships teamRepresent OVG at senior-level meetings, industry events, and high-profile partnership discussionsConsistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significanceInteract in a professional manner with senior-level management

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in sales, business administration, hospitality management, or other related fields5–7+ years of corporate partnerships, sponsorship, or business development experience, preferably in sports, media, and entertainmentProven track record of closing significant partnership deals and delivering measurable revenue growthExcellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities, with a focus on building executive-level relationshipsStrategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and business acumenCollaborative mindset with a strong cultural fit—organization-first, department-second, individual-thirdAbility to spend time on the road conducting sales pitches to new prospective clientsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
