Job summary

Google LLC is seeking an experienced Server Operations leader to oversee the fleet management of our global data center infrastructure. You will manage a diverse group of program managers and TPMs, ensuring scalable deployment of network and server systems across Google’s data centers worldwide.

You will influence executive-level stakeholders, translate strategic network goals into actionable site-level plans, and drive initiatives that optimize reliability, efficiency, and cost.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• 15 years of technical program management experience.
• 10 years of network infrastructure experience.
• 10 years of experience managing network capacity deployment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, MBA, or graduate degree in a management/business field.
• Experience managing and scaling global, high-performing teams of PgMs and TPMs.
• Deep knowledge of cluster network deployments, optical systems, and machine learning infrastructure (e.g., Virgo, Jupiter, Alphanet).
• Strong knowledge of logistics, material management, sourcing, procurement, and PMO governance.
• Proven record of building strategic senior stakeholder relationships and influencing across a broad, cross-functional organization.

The Server Operations team monitors the physical and network infrastructure behind Google’s technology and holds responsibility for keeping the servers, networks, and logistics processes in Google’s global fleet of data centers running smoothly and efficiently.
