Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations to lead the global financial consolidation and close process. The role oversees the integrity of consolidated statements and drives consolidation improvements across acquisitions and finance transformation.

With 10+ years in accounting and CPA, you will manage OneStream-based workflows, ensure GAAP compliance, and collaborate with international teams to strengthen reporting and controls in a fast-growing advisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA required.
• 10+ years in accounting, reporting, and consolidation.
• 5+ years of leadership in finance or accounting organizations.
• Experience with global consolidations and multinational entities.
• Hands-on OneStream or similar EPM platform experience.
• Public accounting background preferred; ASC 805 experience valued.
• Knowledge of ASC 810 and ASC 830, and cross-border accounting.
• VB.NET knowledge a plus; strong project and change management.
• Ability to influence across functions and geographies; focus on improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation and close.
• Ensure accuracy of consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Oversee ownership structures, intercompany eliminations, and hierarchies.
• Manage foreign currency translation and multi-entity reporting.
• Lead accounting close governance and cross-organization coordination.
• Establish close metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Financial Reporting and IT to support reporting needs.
• Review consolidation schedules and disclosures for GAAP compliance.
• Support SOX controls and external audit requests related to consolidation.
• Coordinate acquisitions integration and consolidation impact assessments.
• Ensure robust internal controls over consolidation, close, and reporting.
