As a Director in our Finance & Accounting Managed Services and Shared Services Advisory practice, you will lead strategic transformation initiatives for multinational clients, focusing on designing, implementing, and optimizing finance and accounting service delivery models. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance leaders, driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and digital enablement across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and other finance processes.
Develop and execute strategies for Finance Shared Services, BPO, and GBS operating models, including global process ownership, governance, and service delivery frameworks.
Lead large-scale finance transformation programs, including process standardization, automation, and digital enablement (ERP, RPA, AI, analytics).
Advise clients on global delivery models, captive vs. outsourced structures, and hybrid solutions for finance operations.
Serve as a senior advisor to CFOs and finance leadership teams, providing insights on industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices.
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships to identify new opportunities and expand service offerings.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex finance transformation engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives.
Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with global delivery centers to achieve project milestones.
Drive cost optimization initiatives through process redesign, automation, and strategic sourcing within finance operations.
Develop business cases and ROI models for finance transformation programs, ensuring measurable outcomes such as working capital improvements and close cycle reductions.
Contribute to the development of intellectual property, white papers, and industry insights on Finance Shared Services and GBS trends.
Represent the firm at finance transformation forums, conferences, and client workshops.
Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Support talent development and succession planning within the finance transformation practice.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Experience: Twelve (12) plus years in consulting or industry roles focused on Finance Shared Services, BPO, or GBS transformation.
Proven track record in leading large-scale global finance transformation programs.
Strong knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday), digital enablers (RPA, AI), and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with global delivery models and multi-location strategies for finance operations.
Familiarity with outsourcing contracts, SLAs, and vendor governance in finance processes.
Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver results in complex environments.
