Job summary

MEI is seeking a Director of FP&A to partner with the CFO and senior leaders, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and guiding enterprise performance. You will lead an internal team of financial analysts and drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives across the organization.

The role requires an MBA or related degree, 7–10+ years in FP&A, and strong leadership, with expertise in US GAAP, Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• MBA in finance or a related bachelor's degree with appropriate experience.
• 7-10+ years in FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• 5+ years in direct management or leadership.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and understanding of financial statements.
• Ability to identify trends and recommend practical improvements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work independently.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted partnerships with executive and operational leadership to provide financial insights.
• Lead annual budget, multi-year plan, rolling forecasts and ongoing performance.
• Analyze trends in revenue, gross margin, labor, overhead for optimization.
• Provide actionable insights into profitability, capital planning and performance.
• Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial leaders.
• Monitor KPIs and communicate trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Oversee capital expenditure reporting, budgeting, and investment analyses.
• Prepare and analyze financial records, systems, and processes for efficiencies.
• Lead monthly reporting packages, variance analyses, and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and planning.
• Collaborate with Accounting to improve data integrity and reporting.
• Support regional offices with analytical support for better decision making.
• Support strategic initiatives and acquisitions through financial analysis.
• Lead and align regions for budgeting processes and company-wide standards.
• Partner with CFO to build a high-performing FP&A team.
