This position is responsible for directing, administering, and coordinating all activities of Foster Wing.
Ensures the delivery of quality services and that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with the established standards of nursing and the standards of practice at HealthAlliance Hospital.
Responsible for the recommendation, development, and implementation of approved policies and procedures.
Develops short- and long-term planning and goal setting for Foster Wing.
Develops new programs and expands existing services.
Establishes systems that ensure continuity and quality of care.

Experience/Skills:
Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
Work is considered sedentary. Position requires work indoors in a normal office environment.
