Job summary

Boys Town Massachusetts seeks a program director to oversee Foster Family Services, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality care for children in foster placements. You will supervise staff, coordinate referrals and placements, and manage program budgets.

Requires a Master's in Social Work and an advanced license (LCSW/LICSW) with at least 5 years of foster care/adoption experience. Travel and supervision duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field required.
• Must have an advanced license in social work (LCSW, LICSW) or advanced licensure in a closely related clinical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing foster care or adoptive services.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and pass an annual MVR check.
• Ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) for travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and supports safe and effective provision of services across Foster Family Services.
• Recruits, trains, and supervises staff and volunteers; oversees foster home licensure and home-study processes.
• Coordinates program activities, referrals, intakes, and placement; approves Foster Parent candidates.
• Develops relationships with outside agencies for referrals and manages program budget.
