Job summary

Search Group, on behalf of a growing real estate development company in Bethesda, MD, seeks a CPA for a Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis. This newly created role is strategic and hands-on, focusing on ownership reporting, financial modeling and analysis, budgeting/forecasting, investments, and cash flow management.

Reporting to executive management and working with the Controller, the role requires CPA and strong real estate industry experience, including affordable housing;

Qualifications

• CPA certification required with strong accounting and finance knowledge.
• Experience in real estate development or related sectors preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing projects is required.
• Proven financial modeling and analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own ownership reporting, financial modeling and analysis.
• Provide decision support, budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage investments and cash flow; lead special projects.
• Collaborate with executive management and the Controller.

Overview

Our client, a growing real estate development company in Bethesda MD, seeks a CPA for its Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis role. This newly–created role is both strategic and hands–on and will be responsible for ownership reporting, financial modeling and analysis, decision support, budgeting/forecasting, investments, cash flow management, and special projects. This position reports directly to executive management/ownership, and will work in tandem with the Controller who oversees day-to-day accounting operations. CPA and real estate industry experience REQUIRED, along with financial modeling and analysis experience. Experience in affordable housing also REQUIRED. Compensation currently targeted up to $200K all-in max. This position requires 5 days a week in office.
