As Director, Finance Transformation & AI, you will help build the next generation of Finance and Revenue Management capabilities across HRO.

This is a highly visible role for someone with expertise in solving high-impact business and commercial problems, building new analytics and decision capabilities, and reimagining how work gets done through AI, automation, data, and modern technology. You’ll identify opportunities to improve Finance processes, prototype innovative solutions, and help turn ideas into measurable business outcomes. The work spans strategy, analytics, transformation, and technology, with a common mandate to solve high-value business problems and reimagine how Finance organizations work.

You will work closely with senior Finance and business leaders and across Finance Systems, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Automation, Global Product & Technology, and broader enterprise transformation efforts. Success in this role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and translate complex business challenges into insights, strategies, and practical solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes and scale what works across the organization.

What you’ll do:

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

• Solve high-impact commercial problems. Lead structured analyses and strategic work on questions such as customer targeting, pricing, profitability, investment economics, acquisition returns, business performance, and other priorities facing HRO leaders.

• Build the next generation of Finance and Revenue Management capabilities. Create new approaches to planning, forecasting, pricing, book management, profitability, commercial analytics, reporting, and decision support that improve how the organization makes decisions and manages the business.

• Reimagine how work gets done. Identify processes, workflows, and decisions that can be fundamentally redesigned using better data, automation, AI, and modern technology rather than simply improving existing processes incrementally.

• Personally build and prototype new solutions. Develop analytics, applications, AI and GenAI solutions, agents, workflows, automation, and decision‑support tools. Work directly with SQL, Python, enterprise data, APIs, and modern technologies to turn ideas into something people can see, test, and use.

• Bring emerging technology into the business. Evaluate new AI, data, automation, and technology capabilities, identify where they can create meaningful value, and translate them into practical applications for Finance and Revenue Management.

• Turn successful ideas into scalable capabilities. Partner with Finance Systems, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Automation, and Technology teams to define solution requirements, integrate with the enterprise environment, and move validated prototypes into secure, reliable, production‑ready capabilities.

• Shape and prioritize the transformation roadmap. Identify high‑value opportunities, develop business cases, assess feasibility and investment requirements, and help determine where HRO should focus resources and what should come next.

• Lead initiatives from idea through impact. Drive priority work from problem definition and analysis through design, implementation, adoption, and measurement, bringing together the right business and technical teams to make change happen.

• Measure and realize value. Define success measures, evaluate financial and operational impact, and use results to determine where capabilities should scale, improve, or stop.

• Advise senior leaders and connect the organization. Serve as a thought partner on Finance, Revenue Management, analytics, transformation, and emerging technology while connecting HRO priorities with broader Finance and enterprise capabilities.

Experience.

You have 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading transformation initiatives, including influencing senior stakeholders, driving cross‑functional execution, and delivering measurable business outcomes in large, matrixed organizations.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Finance transformation expertise. You have experience leading Finance transformation initiatives or broader business transformation efforts supporting Finance organizations in large, matrixed organizations, modernizing processes, improving decision‑making, and enhancing how Finance teams operate. You have leveraged AI, SQL, analytics, automation, and modern technologies to identify opportunities, prototype solutions, and drive meaningful business outcomes.

• Finance domain knowledge. You have demonstrated knowledge of Finance processes, including planning, forecasting, pricing, profitability, reporting, analytics, decision support, billing, and related finance areas.

• Executive presence and business acumen. You influence senior stakeholders, serve as a trusted advisor to Finance and business leaders, and connect business needs with practical, scalable solutions. You excel at navigating ambiguity and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated hands‑on building experience. You have personally designed, prototyped, or implemented data- or technology‑enabled solutions rather than solely defining strategy, managing programs, or overseeing vendors. You understand how to move ideas from concept to proof of value.

• Strong SQL skills and analytical capabilities. You leverage SQL to access, manipulate, analyze, and explore data in support of business problem solving, opportunity identification, and solution development. You have practical Python experience or the ability to quickly develop Python proficiency.

• Experience leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies. You understand how modern technologies can be applied to improve Finance processes, enhance decision‑making, and create scalable business solutions.

• Technology and solution‑delivery acumen. You understand how technology‑enabled solutions are developed and can effectively partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into solution designs, guide development efforts, and move concepts into production‑ready capabilities. You have a strong understanding of APIs, systems integration, and modern technology environments, and can engage credibly with engineering and architecture teams.

• Strong strategic problem‑solving capabilities. You can structure ambiguous problems, evaluate alternatives and investments, identify opportunities, and drive cross‑functional initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.

• You’ll have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, a relevant field, or equivalent.

For additional comfortability in the role:

• Experience in strategy, management, technology, digital, or Finance transformation consulting and/or direct experience working within a Finance or Revenue Management organization.

• Experience within PEO, HCM, payroll, HR technology, business services, or another complex, data‑intensive services environment.

• MBA or relevant master's degree in Business, Finance, Business Analytics, Data & Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
