Working directly with the Business Unit President/General Manager and leadership team, this role is responsible for providing financial leadership, decision support, and performance management across the business.The Director serves as a strategic advisor to business leadership, partnering closely across commercial, operations, procurement, market access, commercial analytics, and other cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth and financial performance. The role is responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and business case development across the full financial profile of the business, including revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and contribution margin.This position combines financial expertise, business partnership, strategic thinking, and operational execution to support growth initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, identify risks and opportunities, and improve financial performance. environment.Job Description:Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Finance Business PartnershipServe as the primary finance advisor and business partner to the Business Unit President/General Manager and support pricing, growth initiatives, resource allocation, and business investments.Translate business strategies and operating plans into actionable financial plans and performance metrics.Influence decision-making through fact-based analysis, financial rigor, and strategic thinking.Financial Planning & ForecastingLead development of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning activities, and monthly outlooks for the business unit.Build and maintain financial forecasts covering revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and profitability.Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and risks and incorporate changing assumptions into financial plans.Develop scenario analyses and sensitivity models to evaluate alternative business strategies and outcomes.Performance Management & ReportingMonitor and analyze business performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.Deliver monthly business reviews, KPI reporting, variance analyses, and management reporting packages.Identify key business drivers and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics that support executive decision-making.Communicate financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to business leadership and finance leadership.Financial Analysis & Decision SupportDevelop financial Procurement, Market Access, Commercial Analytics, Accounting, and Enterprise FP&A teams.Ensure alignment between business strategies, operational plans, and financial objectives.Support implementation and management of cross-functional initiatives and special projects.Drive accountability for achievement of financial commitments across the business.Process Improvement & Organizational Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, commercial finance, or business performance management.5+ years
