Responsibilities

  • Strategize with chapter directors on their marketing requests and oversee execution from start to finish with teams and vendors.
  • Manage staff responsible for liaising with chapters across the country and mentor talent.
  • Maintain a system for tracking needs and priorities for campaigns across 25 chapters.
  • Set milestones for dozens of concurrent projects and keep deadlines on track.
  • Oversee creation of donor materials including Annual Report, brochures, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with Creative Director and designers on cross-department initiatives.
  • Uphold brand integrity while localizing messaging for markets.
  • Plan status updates and manage deliverables with stakeholders; troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop KPIs and drive data-informed improvements across the organization.
  • Track expenditures and use Concur for reporting.

About the Role

Reporting into the Vice-President, Marketing, this position manages the marketing needs of 25 chapters with a systematic approach, supervising a talented team in a fast-paced , passionate, and exciting environment. The role is based out of New York city, offering a hybrid schedule of three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize with chapter directors on their marketing requests and oversee the execution from start to finish utilizing Marketing Associates, National Marketing team resources, and outside vendors. Projects may include but are not limited to event invitation suites, flyers, ads, local fundraising campaigns, webpages, event branding, and email communications.
  • Manage staff responsible for liaising with chapters across the country to fulfill their marketing needs. Mentor and develop talent within the team.
  • Maintain a comprehensive system for tracking, organizing, and assessing needs and priorities for marketing campaigns, initiatives, materials, and events for 25 chapters across the country.
  • Set and manage milestones for several dozen simultaneous projects, working within the department and cross-functionally to ensure all deadlines are met and projects are kept on schedule. Keep the Vice President, and other Marketing team members up-to-date and help them manage conflicting needs and resource shortages.
  • Oversee the concepting, drafting, editing, updating, and disseminating marketing collateral for donors, including the Annual Report, program brochures, and capital project proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director, Graphic Designers, and other Marketing staff members on cross-department initiatives; keep chapter directors and associates apprised of Marketing initiatives and tools available to them.
  • Uphold FIDF’s brand integrity throughout field marketing, including standard messaging, positioning, and visual identity, while customizing for local markets.
  • Proactively plan and communicate status updates to our clients, manage project deliverables and timely follow ups. Troubleshoot issue areas and support marketing staff in setting and meeting project goals and deadlines.
  • Bolster, formalize, and manage the organization’s review process of public-facing content for the field.
  • Track, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of communications materials and initiatives, working with team members to assess areas for improvement and organize metrics to report impact.
  • Manage timelines, coordination, and processes for producing, vetting, printing, and distributing print and digital materials to stakeholders.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness of field marketing projects, gathering feedback and recommendations for improvement. Support a data-driven culture of continuous improvement throughout the entire organization.
  • Track expenditures and prepare expense and reimbursement reports using Concur.
