Director, Field Enablement Planning & Execution

Role Summary

With direct ownership and oversight into the field enablement planning & execution function of Strategy & Field Enablement, this leader will be responsible for the development, execution, and governance of end-to-end field enablement planning and execution, including accelerated and multi-indication launches, large-scale field structure transformations field readiness efforts, and other field-related initiative. The Director will proactively manage complexity across headquarters functions, establish the operating model and standards for field readiness, and ensure a seamless operational experience for field sales and account management teams by driving timely decision-making, resolving cross-functional constraints, and ensuring consistent, compliant execution at scale. Success requires executive-level program and project management leadership and strong subject enterprise. The Director leads and develops a team of Associate Directors and Specialists.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Set the field readiness strategy and multi-year roadmap for launches, restructures, and other US Market initiatives; define what "good" looks like and how the organization will deliver it repeatedly at scale
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the field sales force is fully prepared for new product launches, restructuring initiatives, and other changes in business priorities
  • Own development and execution of strategic, innovative and sustainable approaches to business process documentation aimed at increasing process awareness across collaborative workstreams, ensuring future business continuity, and identifying opportunities for simplification
  • Identify, map, and coordinate dependencies across the different field readiness workstreams that impact sales force enablement processes
  • Serve as the senior strategic and operational subject matter expert, shaping outcomes through negotiation, alignment, and leading across senior stakeholders.
  • Implement new processes and capabilities for Field Readiness and other projects, pushing for efficiency in core project management
  • Manage a team of Associate Directors and Specialists responsible for supporting the work and build/develop a high-performing team
  • Manage a portfolio of transformations and empower team members to effectively manage partnership across multiple functions, including Sales Leadership, Sales Planning, Marketing, HR, Compliance, L&D, Sales Ops, Comercial Apps,Communications, Alignments, Incentive Comp, and various HH Data Science functions

  • BS degree required, MS / MBA Preferred
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales operations, sales information, sales territory design, field sales, account management, or an organization which supports field sales and/or account management.
  • Knowledge of Program Management
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale programs (multiple workstreams, complex dependencies, senior governance) delivering measurable readiness outcomes
  • Strong program/project management leadership, including portfolio prioritization, governance design, and risk management
  • Executive-level communication skills; ability to synthesize ambiguity into clear direction, decisions, and actionable plans
  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence at senior levels and lead without authority
  • Process-minded with strong attention to detail and a track record of building sustainable, repeatable ways of working
  • Vendor management experience with accountability for outcomes, quality, and timelines
  • Independent thinking, self-starter, with an agile and growth mindset
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, problem-solving, relationship building, stakeholder engagement, understanding of sales and marketing

Salary Range

$190,800.00 - $300,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
