Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Technical Services Director – External Manufacturing to lead TS/MS at a strategic contract manufacturer. You will drive the Science, Capability, and Control strategy to ensure uninterrupted supply and successful product launches.

Key responsibilities include leading hub and global TS/MS projects, governing CPV programs, and enabling robust technical transfers and regulatory readiness. Strong leadership and collaboration with CMOs are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering.
• PhD or MBA in a relevant field is a plus.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing and TSMS or Drug Development.
• Knowledge of CPV, process robustness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within Hub Leadership Team and global TS/MS projects.
• Champion CPV and drive productivity to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Oversee governance, validation master plans, and regulatory compliance with Elanco standards.
• Lead technical transfers and due diligence, sourcing, and audit representation.
• Manage succession planning and talent development for TS/MS.
