Job summary

CSL is seeking an influential communications leader to shape our external innovation and business development narrative, partnering with R&D, Search & Evaluation, and Commercial teams to elevate CSL’s visibility among biotech founders, researchers, investors and potential partners in King of Prussia and beyond.

The role focuses on thought leadership, executive visibility, media engagement and multi-channel campaigns to drive high‑quality partnering opportunities and strengthen CSL’s reputation

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate communications, healthcare or biotech.
• Demonstrated success supporting senior executives in global organisations.
• Strong expertise in thought leadership, corporate reputation and executive communications.
• Established media relations experience in life sciences or healthcare.
• Experience designing and delivering integrated, multi-channel communications campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling and content development capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging narratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CSL's external innovation and business development communications strategy.
• Build and amplify a differentiated partner of choice narrative across therapeutic areas and platforms.
• Partner with senior R&D, Search & Evaluation, BD and Commercial leaders for positioning and visibility.
• Lead executive thought leadership programs, including keynote presentations, speaking engagements and articles.
• Drive proactive media relations strategies positioning CSL leaders as trusted voices.
• Create multi-channel campaigns increasing engagement with innovators, investors and partners.
• Develop content such as executive communications, partner stories, capability profiles and conference materials.
• Maximise CSL's participation at major conferences and enhance digital presence.
