Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Director, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to provide scientific oversight of virology programs and lead epidemiologic study designs in post-approval and late-phase trials.

The role requires a graduate degree in Epidemiology/Statistics/Public Health (Doctorate preferred) and strong leadership to develop global opportunities, collaborate across functions, and mentor teams while delivering high-quality scientific outputs and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Doctorate preferred.
• Experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late-phase designs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of virology programs and epidemiologic study designs.
• Lead development and delivery of proposals, bid defenses, and capability presentations.
• Develop abstracts, podium presentations, and authorship of publications to promote services.
