Job summary

The College of Law at Michigan State University in East Lansing seeks a Director for the Entrepreneurship Clinic. This full-time, 12-month fixed-term position will manage clinic operations, supervise casework and outreach, and teach the Clinic seminar.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent degree is required.
• Admission to practice before the highest court of any state and eligibility for admission to the Michigan State Bar.
• At least five years of law-related professional experience after law school is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit students and review their applications for the clinic.
• Design, teach, and supervise students enrolled in the clinics.
• Promote the Entrepreneurship Clinic and engage in service at the college, university, and national organizations.
• Provide transactional legal services in IP, technology transfer, business formation and governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
