Job summary

CBTS seeks an Enterprise Rapid Response Director to build and lead a centrical capability for early detection, assessment, and coordination of responses to urgent cybersecurity exposures. The role focuses on zero-day vulnerabilities, vendor advisories, third‑party exposures, and cloud exposure events before incidents escalate.

Responsibilities include leadership, exposure assessment, remediation ownership, and governance alignment, with continuous improvement as a core objective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12–15+ years in cybersecurity, IT risk, or vulnerability management in large enterprises.
• 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing teams, programs, or enterprise functions.
• Experience coordinating enterprise-scale exposure or vulnerability response with executive visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the Enterprise Rapid Response capability.
• Assess exposures and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Own authoritative tracking and remediation delivery.
• Coordinate handoffs and escalation with stakeholders.
• Ensure governance, risk and regulatory alignment across the function.
• Provide program ownership and organizational leadership.
• Lead post-response reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

This function is purpose-built to address zero-day vulnerabilities, pre-CVE and non-CVE threats, vendor advisories, third-party product exposures, and cloud exposure events—before they elevate into confirmed incidents.

• Deep expertise in: enterprise security architecture; vulnerability and exposure management frameworks; risk management and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making under pressure and drive accountability across matrixed organizations.
