Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Director, Corporate Platform - Engineering & AI Enablement to oversee the end-to-end engineering delivery and health of corporate platforms, including Workday ecosystems and integrations.

You will partner with executives to modernize platforms, improve employee experiences, and ensure solutions are resilient, compliant, and scalable across the family of companies. Hybrid in-office two days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise technology and platform delivery.
• 6 years of leadership experience, preferably supporting Workday at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations and Build technologies.
• Experience with AI enablement and agent orchestration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering delivery and operational health of corporate platforms.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to modernize platforms.
• Ensure solutions are resilient, compliant, and built for long-term value.
• Drive platform modernization initiatives in regulated environments.
