Job description

The Director of Enterprise Delivery Services supports their assigned strategic focus area to develop, implement, and execute strategies to deliver on Healthfirst’s strategic plan. This person educates the company, suppliers, and other stakeholders on technology, process, and organizational changes in their assigned focus area and plays a major role in the enterprise transformation of Healthfirst. They oversee ongoing implementation or refinement after launch or process improvement changes and engage collaboratively with leaders to ensure the success of all change management efforts. The Director leads the Enterprise Delivery Services team and oversees multiple enterprise‑wide teams, projects, and programs with broad scope and manages large or mega projects of high strategic importance and risk. This role focuses heavily on the needs of the Clinical Delivery Team.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Enterprise Delivery Services, business, IT, and implementation teams to capture all aspects of a portfolio of projects/programs.
  • Define portfolio objectives with key business stakeholders and plan and deliver projects.
  • Oversee execution of multiple projects; deploy resources and coordinate efforts to ensure timely and on‑budget completion.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities through the entire life cycle.
  • Create and execute plans and documentation to meet stated goals using Healthfirst project management tools and principles.
  • Ensure achievement of project objectives and drive business value by guiding teams through execution and stabilization.
  • Actively manage stakeholder expectations and relationships; resolve issues and risks, including facilitating mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Change Management resources to ensure communication and training are defined, planned, and delivered as appropriate.
  • Facilitate discussions to address issues, including risk management within and across associated projects, and present information to key stakeholders, committees, sponsors, and leaders at all levels.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, communicating goals, objectives and responsibilities, and keeping project focus in terms of scope, schedule, communication, and risk.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in management consulting, leading change management, transformation, and capability building.
  • Experience leading functions and/or project teams for multi‑functional, large programs.
  • Strong leadership and proven track record in developing talent, coaching, and development skills; ability to manage senior leaders and build teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create and edit documents/presentations and manipulate data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or related master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong program management experience.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.
  • Strong business acumen and 5‑10 years prior experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with clinical applications/platforms and integration, familiarity with Pega, Availity or TruCare.
  • Experience implementing clinical programs, especially government programs.
  • Experience leading matrixed, cross‑functional teams.
  • Industry work experience in managed or long‑term care, insurance, government or other healthcare agencies.
  • Experience working with one or more managed care plan products such as Managed Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Long‑Term Care, or commercial products.
Working Hours & Location

Three days per week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at 100 Church Street, NYC or 1101 Greenwood Ave Lake Mary, FL.

Compensation & Benefits

Hiring Range (Greater New York City Area): $174,700 - $267,155

Hiring Range (Other approved locations): $143,400 - $219,300
