Responsibilities

• Directs operations in Employee Benefits, Retirement and Unemployment Compensation.
• Oversees subordinate supervisors and area activities; coordinates changes due to legislation.
• Develops timetables to achieve short- and long-term goals and negotiates health benefits eligibility.
• Serves as resource for employees, family members, and service providers; resolves problems.
• Maintains reporting between retirement office and state agencies; ensures timely inquiries responses.
• Supports information systems for state hearing officers and unemployment benefit processes.
• Represents the Executive Director at meetings, conferences, and presentations.
