Ascension is seeking a Senior Nursing Leader for the Critical Care & Emergency Room at Sacred Heart Bay Hospital in Panama City, FL. This full-time role directs patient care delivery, quality assurance, budget management, and staff development within the department.

You will partner with physicians and executive leadership, oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensure audit readiness while meeting clinical and legal standards.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• Registered Nurse credential from Florida Board of Nursing before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Establish departmental goals and operational policies in line with clinical, legal, and health system standards.
• Direct all patient care delivery, quality assurance, and audit readiness.
• Manage departmental budgets, optimize resources, and reduce operational friction.
• Partner with physicians and leadership to streamline operations, staffing, and equipment workflow.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
