Job summary

Leading Educators is seeking a Director of Implementation, Design, and Coaching – ELA to lead instructional transformation across seven schools in the San Mateo‑Foster City and Ravenswood City School Districts. You’ll own the full lifecycle of ELA implementation—from launch through measurable impact—while building capacity of school and district leaders.

This hybrid leadership role requires expertise in instructional coaching, professional learning design, and strategic client partnership,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in education, instructional leadership, curriculum implementation, or district‑level instructional support
• Experience leading complex implementation across multiple schools or districts
• Track record designing high‑quality professional learning aligned to standards
• Direct coaching experience with school or district leaders and translating coaching into observable changes in practice
• Experience managing client or partner relationships within a district or multi‑school context
• Experience developing staff with clear responsibility for execution
• Practitioner‑level comfort with AI tools for efficiency and insight
• Ability to travel weekly within Northern California and nationally for events and development

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of ELA implementation from launch to measurable impact
• Design and facilitate job-embedded professional learning cycles that stick
• Conduct learning walks and debriefs to reveal truth and guiding actions
• Partner with district leadership to surface opportunities and manage risks
• Translate strategy into actionable project plans with milestones and disciplined execution
