Job summary

East Texas A&M University in Dallas is seeking a Program Director of Educator Preparation Clinical Initiatives. The role coordinates clinical experiences, supports mentor teachers, and liaises with TEA and district partners to drive program improvement.

The position focuses on data collection, monitoring candidate progress, and ensuring compliance while located at the Dallas site with travel to other campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Three years of experience in educator preparation, K-12 education, or related area.
• Knowledge of state certification regulations and TEA policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of clinical placements for teacher candidates with districts and educational partners.
• Serve as the primary contact for school district personnel regarding clinical experiences and partnerships.
• Coordinate training and support for mentor teachers and university field supervisors.
• Serve as a liaison to facilitate certification documentation with TEA and districts.
• Collect, analyze, and report data related to placements, performance, and partnerships.
