Job summary

KenCrest is seeking a Program Director for the ELC-North Pre-K program in Philadelphia to lead and grow high-quality early education services. You will supervise staff, manage enrollment, and uphold DHS licensing standards across all sites.

The role emphasizes program oversight, family engagement, and partnerships with funders and community partners to advance strong outcomes for young children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Director’s credential required.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory and early childhood program management experience.
• Knowledge of Head Start, Early Head Start and Pre-K Counts programs required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guide the program with a clear vision.
• Oversee reporting requirements and licensing compliance.
• Manage enrollment and staffing; ensure safe, collaborative environments.
• Collaborate with HR, partners, and stakeholders for staffing and program development.
• Develop evaluation, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement plans.
