Chartwells K-12 in Clawson, MI is seeking a student-focused Director of Dining Services to oversee nutrition programs across two school locations. You will lead a team of 15 frontline associates, manage daily operations, financial performance, USDA compliance, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for students.

This hands-on leadership role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with time off during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks, supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of foodservice management experience required
• K-12 food service experience preferred

Job Summary

Clawson School District in Clawson, MI is seeking a student-focused Director of Dining Services to oversee nutrition programs across two school locations, serving a vibrant school community while leading a team of 15 frontline associates. This leader will be responsible for daily operations, financial performance, USDA compliance, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for students.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands‑on leader who enjoys building strong teams and relationships. Clawson Schools offers a supportive client partnership and a collaborative environment where student success comes first. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, K-12 food service experience (preferred), and a passion for student nutrition. The position provides an excellent work-life balance with a Monday through Friday schedule, along with time off during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.

Key Responsibilities:
