Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides development, organization, and management of diagnostic/imaging services at facilities throughout CMC. Establishes a continuous improvement environment to maximize staff resources, enhance quality patient services, control costs, and expand CMC’s capabilities.

Under the direction of the Executive Director, performs functions including:

• Directing operations of Diagnostic/Imaging Services across hospital and satellite locations.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies, maintaining standards, and readiness for inspections.
• Developing policies, managing quality programs, and reviewing data for quality assurance.
• Developing and controlling budgets, including capital equipment planning.
• Collaborating with physicians and staff to assess needs and optimize resources.
• Determining staffing needs, supervising staff, and managing personnel actions.
• Leading strategic initiatives, setting departmental goals, and managing quality assurance programs.
• Overseeing billing and accounts receivable activities related to the department.
• Maintaining confidentiality, fostering positive relationships, and acting as liaison with hospital personnel and community agencies.
• Leading safety, infection control, and emergency preparedness efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience.
• License/Registration with ARRT/ASRT and relevant certifications.
