Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Director, Devices & Micro Product to lead a Lab Filtration portfolio (> $150M) and shape strategy for devices, microbiology and collection solutions. This on-site role supports research and manufacturing workflows from Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or portfolio leadership.
• Experience with NPD and lifecycle management initiatives in a global B2B environment.
• Experience leading and developing product management teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing portfolios with P&L responsibility.

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Lab Filtration Devices & Micro portfolio, owning end-to-end strategy across growth, profitability, lifecycle management, and market positioning.
• Ensure portfolio performance against KPIs, leading problem-solving to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of Lab Filtration and join the leadership team.
• Drive the innovation pipeline with customer-backed projects meeting IFV/IPV targets.
• Partner with R&D, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams for successful NPD and lifecycle initiatives.
• Build strong segment insights to translate market needs into portfolio actions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 direct reports with accountability and feedback.

The Director, Devices & Micro Product is responsible for leading a portfolio of >$150M within Lab Filtration, spanning devices, microbiology and collection solutions that customers rely on to support critical research, life science manufacturing, and applied market workflows. This leader will shape the strategy, performance, and growth of the portfolio, driving customer value, innovation, and commercial execution across a global business.

This position reports to the VP, GM Diagnostics & Genomics and Lab Filtration and is part of the D&G & LF leadership team, part of Discovery and Medical Operating company located in Cardiff (UK), Amersham (UK) or Marlborough (US) offices and will be an on-site role

What you will do:

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Lab Filtration Devices & Micro portfolio, owning the end-to-end product strategy across growth, profitability, lifecycle management, and market positioning.
• Ensure portfolio performance delivers against CVD and key business KPIs, leading PSP problem-solving to identify root causes and implement countermeasures across the portfolio.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Lab Filtration business and the broader D&G & LF leadership agenda as a member of the leadership team.
• Drive the innovation pipeline for Devices & Micro, ensuring a clear flow of customer-backed projects that meet IFV/IPV targets and strengthen the long-term competitiveness of the portfolio.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver successful NPD execution, product launches, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Build strong segment and customer insight to identify opportunities in lab filtration, microbiology, and sample preparation workflows, translating market needs into clear portfolio actions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture with clear priorities, strong accountability, and regular feedback.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or portfolio leadership, preferably within life sciences, lab filtration, bioprocessing, microbiology, applied markets, or related consumables and devices portfolios
• Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver new product development (NPD) and lifecycle management initiatives
• Experience leading and developing teams, including direct management of product management teams
• Demonstrated experience managing product portfolios with P&L responsibility and delivering against revenue and margin targets in a global B2B environment

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel internationally – up to 35% of the time and up to consecutive weeks

The annual salary range for this role is $175,000-$210,000.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
