Job summary

Cordis, LLC is seeking a senior-level Design Quality Engineering leader to oversee the Design QE group, ensuring QA compliance across new product and business development efforts. The role partners with cross-functional teams to drive efficient development and commercialization.

Responsibilities include staff development, budgeting, and leading design reviews, risk management, and DHF activities to deliver compliant cardiovascular devices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in design QA for medical devices or similar regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of device R&D processes, regulatory guidance, and QA practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Design Quality Engineering group and prioritize activities.
• Lead QA leadership, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Guide design reviews, risk management, and Design History File (DHF) activities across NPD/NBD projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive development and commercialization of products.
