Job summary

Accion Opportunity Fund seeks a Director of Data and Product Engineering to build and run data analytics systems, AI deployment, and customer-facing products. This hands-on role combines software engineering with platform leadership in a hybrid U.S. based environment.

You will own the data platform, drive reliable ingestion from Salesforce and core systems, and collaborate with Finance, Analytics, Marketing, and Ops to deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years building data platforms and product systems in production.
• Experience integrating pipelines with enterprise SaaS like Salesforce and Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Strong software engineering, API design, AWS, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Own data platform and infrastructure including lake, warehouse, ingestion, and orchestration.
• Design and ship internal and external AI-enabled data products.
• Lead a small engineering team and mentor analysts and engineers.
• Partner with multiple teams to accelerate model deployment and reporting.
