Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Director of Data Engineering to lead design, development and support of a data-driven platform in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. You will own complex SQL, Snowflake, Databricks pipelines, and data modeling for analytics and reporting.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering, strong leadership, and experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Delta Lake, and BI tools. You will collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams across the Publicis network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience with complex SQL and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with Snowflake as enterprise data warehouse.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines with Databricks and Spark (PySpark).
• Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements and design scalable data solutions.
• Develop SQL transformations and data pipelines in Snowflake and Databricks.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to optimize schema for performance.
• Develop and monitor ETL/ELT processes in Python and SQL.
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide scalable data-driven solutions.
• Mentor and lead a data engineering team.
