Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas City seeks a leader to coordinate Cardiovascular Laboratories, Peripheral Vascular Laboratories, Electrophysiology, and pacemaker/defibrillator services across the system. You will partner with administration and physicians to plan and evaluate programs and ensure outstanding clinical care.

The role focuses on positioning the laboratory services as a market leader through efficient work processes, translational research, and education of staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of applicable experience in cardiac electrophysiology or related labs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Cardiovascular Laboratories, Peripheral Vascular Laboratories, Electrophysiology Laboratories, and implant services regionally.
• Lead planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services.

Job Description Accountable for the overall coordination and management of the Cardiovascular Laboratories, Peripheral Vascular Laboratories, Electrophysiology Laboratories, and Cardiac pacemaker and Cardio-defibrillator implant services for all programs regionally distributed throughout Saint Lukes Health System hospitals. Working collaboratively with Administration and physicians, assumes a leadership role in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and services which support the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the Cardiovascular Specialty Line. Responsible for positioning the Mid America Heart Institute Cardiovascular Laboratory Services as a market leader recognized for structuring work processes and a work environment that supports the delivery of outstanding clinical care, cutting edge translational cardiovascular research, and graduate medical education by an engaged, highly satisfied workforce composed of employees and physicians.
